Porter Cable Combo Kit
Porter Cable has a great compressor and nail gun set up to get the job done. I have purchased 2 of these kits and the nail guns are still running years later. The compressors tend to last a pro 2-3 years with daily use. If you are a diyer that should be years of usage.
I like this compressor because it is not too heavy at 34 lbs and it doesn’t need maintenance other than draining it out periodically and the initial break in. The hose supplied with the unit is a little on the flimsy side but will get the job done. The canvas carry bag is a big improvement over the old hard cases that didn’t fit in anything a few years ago. You can expect several years of reliable usage usage from this kit.
The nail guns operate flawlessly. I have all three of these guns and after 5 years they all still work like a top. They are easy to maintain, only requiring a few drops of oil before using them, they are easy to load and easy to clear misfires from. They have all the features you would expect from a professional nail gun.
