Milwaukee 5378-20 1/2-Inch Hammer Drill
A while ago I found myself looking for a general-use hammer drill for a concrete project where we needed to tie a new slab into an old one. After looking around online for a while, I eventually decided on Milwaukee’s 5378-20. After using it for a while I was very pleased with what it had to offer at a great price point. I like this drill for its versatility as an ‘all-purpose’ drill. It has more than enough power and torque to get just about any job done (it can drill into concrete), but isn’t too heavy or bulky. It’s not loaded with the bells and whistles that some drills have, but it has the features you need to get the job done. Those include a reversible switch, variable speed trigger, lock down and run button, depth gauge rod, 2 speed settings and a hammer switch.
