Logistics for the remodeler and builder

Logistics for the remodeler and builder

If you are a builder or a Remodeler and your business is growing, that pick up truck you use to get materials and supplies is probably no longer big enough to get the job done. This becomes more obvious as the size of the jobs get bigger and the length of the projects get longer.  Add in those tools, which can take up lots of space, and suddenly you have an issue. It may be time to consider upgrading to a larger vehicle, and while I have seen some Remodelers and builders move to cargo vans, these really are not well suited, space wise, to hold dimensional lumber and sheets of plywood or sheetrock.

It may be time to consider looking at a box truck for sale online. There are dozens of choices fitting every budget, from larger to smaller trucks. These vehicles can save a lot of time and m0ney getting everything needed for the job in one trip. And if you move around town all day doing installs then they can be invaluable in saving time from unloading and reloading your materials and tools. You can literally set up a mobile shop in the cargo area of these vehicles if you plan it out right. I have seen some impressive mobile shops with some subs I have worked with.
